In this role, you will specialize in the installation, repair, and maintenance of vehicle electrical systems, with a focus on 12-volt components such as audio systems, lighting, alarms, and other electronic accessories. Your expertise will help ensure our customers' vehicles operate safely and efficiently, providing top-tier service that keeps them confident on the road. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced automotive electrical systems and contribute to innovative vehicle solutions in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair 12-volt electrical systems including lighting, alarms, audio/video equipment, and other electronic accessories. Install new electrical components following detailed schematics and manufacturer specifications. Conduct troubleshooting using automotive diagnostics tools to identify electrical issues accurately. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks related to electrical systems, powertrain, transmissions, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs and installations. Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to ensure precise work execution. Collaborate with team members on complex repairs such as diesel engine repair, wheel alignment, or welding projects when needed. Skills Proven dealership experience with automotive electrical systems and service technician roles. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in vehicle maintenance, powertrain components, and transmissions. Expertise in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques for electrical issues. Experience working with ADAS technology and understanding of vehicle sensor calibration. Ability to read schematics accurately and apply them during repairs or installations. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs. Knowledge of GM vehicles or diesel engine repair is a plus but not required.
