Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Calibration Technician I to join our quality assurance team. Entry-level position responsible for inspecting and testing products throughout manufacturing, and non-conforming materials, and ensuring products meet company and regulatory standards. Primary Responsibilities Non-Conformance Management Evaluate non-conforming products from production, R&D, and engineering Perform visual inspections and utilize instrumentation to perform quality checks Determine disposition: Scrap, Rework, or Use-As-Is Process NCM backlog daily and maintain tracking documentation Calibration & Testing Calibrate sensors using standard solutions and test equipment Maintain calibration logs and conformity records Inspection Inspect raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products Use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Perform in-process and final inspections Laboratory Work Prepare standard solutions and reagents Operate pH meters, spectrophotometers, and other laboratory instruments Follow proper PPE and safety protocols Loop System Maintenance Inspect and monitor calibration loops for issues Clean and maintain loop systems Monitor water quality parameters Documentation Enter data into Serial Number (SN) Database Maintain inspection records and quality logs Prepare inspection reports Testing Support Assist with initial and final testing of sensors Support troubleshooting. Perform incoming inspection and pH testing R&D Support Prepare testing solutions including artificial seawater Assist R&D team as needed Equipment Maintenance Perform routine calibration and maintenance of testing equipment Maintain clean and organized work area Requirements High school diploma or GED required Basic computer skills for data entry Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
Pay:
$26.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 45.0 per week
