Electrical Technician Job Description We are seeking an Electrical Technician to be part of a dynamic team maintaining automated racking systems at a leading battery production facility. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of these systems, assisting with machine activation and calibration. Responsibilities Maintain and troubleshoot automated racking systems used in battery production. Assist with turning on and calibrating machines alongside the tool install company. Interface with debugging, electrical repair, and calibration tasks. Collaborate with teams to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Prepare and maintain documentation and reports related to system performance. Essential Skills Strong mechanical inclination with experience in car mechanics, robotics, or circuit boards. Proficiency in debugging, electrical repair, and calibration. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Competence in using test equipment for troubleshooting. Experience with Microsoft Suite and Pivot Charts. Additional Skills & Qualifications OSHA 10 certification preferred, but not required. Leadership and teamwork skills are highly valued. Work Environment Work flexible day shifts from Monday to Friday, 8-5 or 8-8, or rotating night shifts with a schedule of 3 days on, 4 days off, followed by 4 days on, 3 days off. The environment is dynamic and requires adaptability to different schedules and tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparks, NV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
