We value strong teamwork, respect for personal time, and a commitment to continuous improvement. We are looking to add an Electrical Controls Technician to our team. In this role, you will support plant operations by performing PLC programming, troubleshooting electrical systems, maintaining equipment reliability, and ensuring minimal downtime. You will work hands on with modern automation systems, collaborate with skilled technicians, and contribute to ongoing process improvements. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair plant operating systems with minimal downtime Diagnose issues with electrical components, PLCs, and control systems Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Perform PLC programming changes and modifications (Allen Bradley, Siemens) Program and troubleshoot VFDs and HMIs (PowerFlex, ABB, SEW drives, PanelView HMIs) Execute instrument calibration (DC loops, 4 to 20 mA, digital signals) Maintain equipment logs documenting repairs, calibrations, and performance issues Analyze electrical systems and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability Qualifications AAS in Electrical Engineering or similar degree preferred Minimum 2 years of electronic or electrical maintenance experience (heavy manufacturing a plus) Ability to pass a written electronics exam Program and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs and HMIs Benefits Automatic 4% 401k contribution + 50 percent match on the first 10 percent (up to 9 percent total additional contribution) Profit sharing program averaging 15% of annual salary over the past decade Productivity bonus averaging $5,400 per year Health, dental, and vision insurance Tuition reimbursement and educational assistance Employee assistance program Flexible spending account For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
