This position focuses on precision optical testing and alignment. The candidate will support the assembly, integration, testing, and qualification of an optical metrology system, as well as the testing and optimization of precision optical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Solid understanding of geometrical optics Experience analyzing data using standard tools (e.g., Excel, MATLAB, Python) Ability to learn technical procedures quickly and contribute to workflow improvements Comfortable working in a research environment with evolving requirements and open-ended problem solving Self-directed; able to work effectively with limited on-site supervision Demonstrated safe-handling practices for sensitive optical components

Experience :

3+ years in optics (with Associate's Degree), or 2+ years in optics (with Bachelor's Degree)

Required Skills:

Optical alignment Test setup Geometrical optics Troubleshooting support Data processing

Education:

Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred Degree in Optics or a related field preferred but not required
