Job Description

Aircraft Component Repair Technician responsible for overhauling, repairing, inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting aircraft safety equipment and oxygen systems. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED 3-5 years of related experience or training Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Proficiency using hand tools Experience working with high-pressure oxygen Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to read and interpret parts manuals Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to complete work orders and required repair documentation Ability to test equipment using pressure gauges and flow meters Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues using maintenance manuals Must pass FAA pre-employment drug and alcohol testing Preferred Skills A&P certification strongly preferred Aircraft industry experience Experience overhauling fire extinguishers Experience repairing oxygen masks Experience working with cylinder and regulator assemblies Experience using OEM manuals and product specifications Hydrostatic oxygen cylinder testing experience Job Responsibilities Overhaul and repair fire extinguishers Overhaul and repair oxygen masks Overhaul and repair cylinder and regulator assemblies Receive equipment and inspect incoming products Complete work orders and related paperwork Test equipment using pressure gauges and flow meters Troubleshoot mechanical issues by following maintenance manuals Torque regulators to cylinders using OEM manual specifications Perform hydrostatic testing on oxygen cylinders Follow applicable safety procedures when working with high-pressure oxygen systems Maintain repair, inspection, and testing documentation as required
Pay:
