In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of arcade game machines and related equipment. Your expertise will ensure that guests enjoy seamless gaming experiences, and your proactive maintenance will minimize downtime. Responsibilities Perform field service visits to diagnose and repair arcade game hardware and software issues on-site. Use hand tools and specialized equipment to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems. Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to identify faults and implement repairs efficiently. Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative care on arcade machines to ensure optimal functionality. Repair computer hardware components within gaming systems, including updating software or replacing defective parts. Manage low voltage electrical systems safely, adhering to all safety protocols and standards. Utilize an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to test circuits, measure resistance, and verify electrical integrity. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on electronic or computer hardware repair; experience in field service is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with hand tools effectively. Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes. Knowledge of computer networking concepts relevant to arcade systems for connectivity troubleshooting. Ability to perform equipment repair, maintenance, and diagnostics in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with low voltage electrical systems and safety standards related to electrical work. Proficiency with testing devices such as an ohmmeter for circuit analysis.
