The Calibration Technician verifies inspection inventory of gages issued to production and plans schedules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Gage calibration process for keeping inspection equipment and updating equipment and calibration data. Maintain the condition of gages used in our operating system. Maintain gage inventory stock. Issue, collect and replace all gages needed for production-by-production schedule or one-time requests. Issue and keep the latest up to date revision level of all production documentation. Maintain our quality system and develop new systems and techniques applicable to the company's operations. Help prepare information to recommend engineering and production on specific problems which relate to their respective areas. Machine shop experience a plus Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications): Associate's degree in business, Engineering, or related field. 2-4 years experience is needed Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively and with all areas of the organization. Basic knowledge of blueprint reading, manufacturing specification, and data interpretation. Adaptable to fast paced environment Attention to detail
