Engineering Test Technician (Full-Time)

Entry-Level / Recent Graduates Encouraged to Apply / Experienced Technicians Position Summary We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Engineering Test Technician to join our growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with a strong mechanical or electrical foundation who are eager to gain real-world experience in a high-tech, product-focused environment. In this role, you will support the testing and validation of precision sensing components , working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams. The ideal candidate is mechanically and electrically inclined, detail-oriented, and excited to learn and grow in a full-time engineering support role. Key Responsibilities Set up and perform mechanical and electrical tests on precision components and assemblies Operate and maintain test equipment such as: Oscilloscopes Multimeters Calipers, micrometers, and hand tools Interpret engineering drawings, test procedures, and technical specifications Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues encountered during testing Accurately record, analyze, and report test data Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to support root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts Assist with the development and improvement of test fixtures and test procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environment in accordance with company standards Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with small components and assemblies Basic understanding of electrical circuits and signal testing Experience using common lab and test equipment (academic projects, labs, or internships acceptable) Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to take initiative Effective written and verbal communication skills Must be able to work a full-time schedule Recent graduates and entry-level candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Hands-on academic or internship experience is welcome. Preferred (Not Required) Exposure to aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability industries Familiarity with environmental testing (vibration, thermal, shock, etc.) Knowledge of data acquisition systems or test automation tools Why Join Us? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
