Day In The Life Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by: Perform in-process and final inspection of electronic assemblies, including SMT and through-hole components. Inspect PCB assemblies using microscopes, magnification tools, and measurement devices. Evaluate solder joints, component placement, polarity, labeling, and workmanship in accordance with

IPC-A-610

Class 2/3 criteria. Review work orders, assembly drawings, BOMs, and specifications to verify compliance. Document inspection results clearly and accurately using company quality systems. Identify nonconformances and communicate issues to production, engineering, and quality teams. Verify rework and repairs performed according to IPC-A-610 and related standards. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action activities as required. Support incoming inspection of electronic components as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment following ESD and safety protocols. What will help you thrive in this role? 2-5 years of experience in electronics assembly or inspection.

Certification Strong understanding of SMT, through-hole, and mixed technology assembly processes. Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions. High attention to detail and strong manual dexterity. Familiarity with ESD procedures and safe handling of electronic components. Proficient in documenting findings and using quality control software or systems. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge and / or experience with AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) equipment.
