Job Description
Job Overview:
Montrose Loudermilk Powersports in Ashtabula featuring brands including Kawasaki, Sea Doo, Ski Doo, Can Am, and Cub Cadet, is currently seeking a dedicated, skilled and experienced Technician to join our team. As a Technician, you will be an integral part of our service department, responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks on powersport vehicles and lawn equipment. Duties:
- Assemble and disassemble powersport vehicles and lawn equipment for maintenance and repair purposes.
- Conduct powersport vehicle and lawn equipment inspections to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Utilize power tools and equipment to perform mechanical tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Perform brake repairs and other mechanical services as needed.
- Assist in dealership operations related to powersport vehicle maintenance.
Skills:
- At least 1 year prior experience as a Service Technician or Mechanic preferred.
- Proficiency in powersport vehicle maintenance tasks and mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to handle power tools and equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with dealership procedures and standards.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks when required.
- Strong understanding of brake repair procedures.
- Motorcycle/Dirt bike diagnosis and repair experience is a must
