Part-Time Shop Mechanic Devins Powerwash - Berea, Ohio 15-20 Hours Per Week | Evenings and/or Weekends About the Position Devins Powerwash is looking for a dependable, hands-on Part-Time Shop Mechanic to help maintain and repair our growing fleet of nine service vehicles and power washing equipment. This position is ideal for someone with experience in small engine repair, basic plumbing, basic electrical work, and general mechanical troubleshooting . You will help keep our trucks and equipment operating safely and efficiently by handling preventative maintenance, diagnosing problems, and completing day-to-day repairs. The schedule is flexible, with work primarily available after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays or during the day on Saturdays and Sundays . Responsibilities Diagnose and repair power washing equipment and small engines Troubleshoot pumps, hoses, reels, fittings, valves, and related equipment Complete basic plumbing and electrical repairs Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and service vehicles Change oil, filters, spark plugs, belts, fluids, and other common parts Identify equipment issues before they result in larger breakdowns Help maintain an organized inventory of tools, parts, and supplies Keep the shop and maintenance areas clean and organized Document completed repairs and equipment that may need additional service Communicate clearly with management about equipment status and needed parts Assist with general vehicle and trailer maintenance when needed Qualifications Experience with small engine repair or mechanical maintenance Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Comfortable working independently Ability to use common hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Ability to safely lift and move equipment and parts Valid driver's license Experience with pressure washing equipment, pumps, trailers, or commercial vehicles is preferred but not required Schedule Approximately 15-20 hours per week Weekday evenings after 5:00 p.m. Saturday and/or Sunday availability Flexible schedule based on availability and company needs What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Flexible part-time schedule Consistent year-round maintenance work Opportunity to work independently Tools, workspace, and access to company equipment Opportunity to grow with a fast-growing company and potentially take on additional responsibilities over time About Devins Powerwash Devins Powerwash is a growing exterior cleaning company specializing in commercial and residential power washing, gutter cleaning, window cleaning, and other exterior services.
