Automation Technician Location:
New Albany, Ohio (Onsite)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled professional to provide technical engineering support for system and equipment optimization within a regulated manufacturing environment. Our team values strong collaboration and hands-on troubleshooting skills to ensure compliance with industry standards and support reliable production operations.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for system and equipment optimization, upgrades, replacements, and modifications in a GMP manufacturing area. Coordinate troubleshooting and maintenance activities related to electrical, automation, calibration, and process equipment. Assist during regulatory inspections and support validation of equipment and processes following cGMP requirements. Interpret and review electrical schematics, P&ID's, and maintain accurate inventory of spare parts for production systems.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
Demonstrated practical automation experience, including PLC troubleshooting skills and hands-on equipment maintenance. Ability to read electrical schematics and use a multimeter for diagnostics and repair of production equipment. Familiarity with ladder logic and HMI systems, and experience with packaging equipment is preferred. Bachelor's degree, or Associate degree and four years of relevant experience, or high school diploma/GED and six years of experience.
