Job Description
Join our dynamic maintenance team and be at the forefront of keeping our production equipment running at peak performance! We're looking for a skilled Senior Maintenance Professional who can bring their technical expertise to ensure our manufacturing operations maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and reliability.
What will you do:
Controls/Technical support for various Shift production including fabrication, metal finishing, and busway assembly, through troubleshooting and determining root causes for downtime events.
Production barrier identification and elimination for various levels of automation including stamping presses, welders, conveyors, automated assembly, and robotics.
Update, modify, and continuously improve existing controls systems including robotics, ladder logic programs, relay logic, electrical distribution, motor controls, operator interface, pneumatic/hydraulic distribution
Coordinate with production and maintenance on existing machine control modifications or installations
Create, maintain and keep current all documentation: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics; panel layouts; PLC, operator display, operator interface, and robot programs.
Implement and maintain data collection system for shop floor production equipment
Coordinate with OEMs and other external technical resources to resolve high level technical barriers of process equipment
Support implementation of new industrialized machines and tools through piloting and qualification What qualifications will make you successful:
Minimum 2 Year College Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field
5+ years of experience in the Electrical, Controls field within Manufacturing
Experience with Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic Systems
Strong PLC programming skills
Electrical/Mechanical CAD Experience
Motion Control Experience
Robot programming Experience
Machine Vision Experience
Ability to prepare, read and interpret written reports, instructions, procedures and guidelines
