Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Welder Repair Technician to join our growing service team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial welding equipment, with a strong focus on Lincoln Electric and Miller welding systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience repairing welders and related equipment not just welding experience and will be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced industrial service environment. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair Lincoln Electric and Miller welding machines and related equipment Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control-related issues on industrial welders Perform preventive maintenance and calibration on welding equipment Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals Test and verify equipment performance after repairs Maintain accurate service and repair documentation Communicate repair findings and recommendations with customers and internal teams Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards Assist with shop organization, inventory, and parts management as needed Qualifications Previous experience repairing industrial welding equipment required Experience with Lincoln Electric and Miller equipment strongly preferred Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals Experience working with industrial power systems, controls, and electronic components Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair projects Valid driver's license required Preferred Qualifications Lincoln Electric and/or Miller certifications preferred Experience with industrial automation, controls, or hydraulic systems is a plus Field service experience preferred Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) plan Career growth opportunities Stable long-term work environment
