Engineering Technician Job Description Join a dynamic team responsible for product design support for standard or custom power units. Work under the direction of Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineers, performing prototyping, troubleshooting, or validation activities, and assist design engineers with prototyping new product designs or subassemblies. Responsibilities Assist in the prototyping of new product designs using available materials. Support regulatory agency testing or preparation such as

UL, CSA, TUV.

Debug production problems to ensure seamless manufacturing processes. Create comprehensive manufacturing instructions. Test and troubleshoot new products, particularly load banks. Essential Skills 5+ years of experience with power or electromechanical products. Proficient in testing and troubleshooting. Previous electrical wiring experience. Ability to read blueprints and schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Two-year degree preferred. Experience with low and medium voltage power systems. Proficiency in MS-Office desktop solutions, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Bachelor's or Associate's degree with relevant co‑op or internship experience is acceptable. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $37.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
