You will play a vital role in ensuring operational uptime by performing expert diagnostics and mechanical servicing in both shop and field environments. Responsibilities Execute the full lifecycle of valve maintenance, including teardown, inspection, calibration, and reassembly of relief, control, and manual valves. Drive operational efficiency by conducting on-site field repairs and testing during high-stakes plant turnarounds and outages. Interpret complex technical blueprints and work orders to ensure all mechanical repairs meet rigorous industry specifications. Utilize specialized testing equipment to validate valve performance and ensure system integrity. Maintain clear communication with site personnel to provide status updates and resolve technical challenges during service calls. Uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance across all industrial environments and project sites. Qualifications Required Skills 2+ years of hands-on experience in valve maintenance or industrial mechanical repair within refinery or power generation settings. Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot, disassemble, and rebuild complex mechanical valve systems. Proficiency in reading technical documentation, blueprints, and equipment schematics. Valid driver's license and the ability to meet physical requirements for field service work. High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Skills Practical experience with machining, welding, or metal fabrication techniques. Prior success managing maintenance tasks during large-scale plant shutdowns. Technical expertise in pressure relief or automated control valve systems. Basic computer literacy for documentation and reporting purposes.
