We have been an A2LA Accredited Calibration Laboratory for over 25 years and maintain an extensive calibration scope. Since 1987, Probata has provided quality products and services to customers across a wide range of industries, including oil and gas, manufacturing, aviation, and other technical fields. Position Summary Probata Corporation is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to perform calibration and metrology services on various types of Measuring and Test Equipment, also known as M&TE. This position will include both in-house and field service work, including out-of-state travel (Potentially up to 50%) . The ideal candidate will have strong calibration experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Perform calibration and metrology services on various types of Measuring and Test Equipment. Travel to customer locations, including out-of-state travel, to perform field service calibration work. Calibrate, adjust, align, and verify measuring instruments and related equipment. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical and electronic components and devices. Follow established calibration procedures, quality requirements, and documentation practices. Perform calibrations with little or no supervision. Assist in the development and revision of metrology and quality-related procedures. Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company and accreditation requirements. Communicate professionally with customers and internal team members. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma required. Associate degree in a technical field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of calibration experience preferred. Knowledge of measuring instruments and calibration preferred.. Strong understanding of analytical mathematics. Ability to follow written procedures and technical instructions. Ability to work independently and manage assigned work efficiently. Good verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Ability and willingness to travel, including out-of-state travel (up to 50% travel).
