USA Oklahoma City, OK Job Details $24.00 - $26.50 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Electrical work Plumbing Electrical maintenance Electrical parts Full Job Description Commercial Coffee Systems Refurbishment Technician Step into a hands-on role rebuilding premium beverage equipment designed for the finest specialty coffees. You will clean, repair, test, and package high-end machines, ensuring every step is documented to meet stringent quality assurance standards and precise inventory control. A day in the life You arrive to a well-organized bench with incoming brewers and espresso systems queued for refurbishment.
Your first task:
break down each unit with care, assessing components for wear, damage, and overall condition. You clean parts using the right methods and materials, replace what's out of spec, and bring each machine back to factory requirements. Once reassembled, you run thorough diagnostics to validate performance and safety, confirm the unit meets internal standards and industry regulations, and then package and label it for shipment. Core responsibilities Disassemble equipment; inspect components for wear, damage, and condition. Clean all parts using appropriate techniques and materials. Repair and replace components to meet factory specifications. Reassemble and test equipment to ensure reliable operation. Run comprehensive diagnostics to verify performance and safety compliance. Ensure all rebuilt equipment aligns with company standards and industry regulations. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, tests, and parts usage. Track inventory; maintain parts at established par levels and keep tools in readiness. Package and label finished units for shipment. Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe; follow all safety practices and guidelines. Assist with tracking and shipping of parts and equipment. Support periodic equipment inventory counts. Operate a forklift or pallet jack as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. All work performed will be fully documented and executed to meet quality assurance standards and ensure accurate inventory control. Education & experience High school diploma or equivalent. Basic electrical and plumbing experience required. Minimum of two (2) years refurbishing or repairing coffee brewers or closely related equipment. Familiarity with espresso machines, grinders, bean-to-cup systems, French press, and cold brew is preferred (not required). Technical & professional capabilities Strong mechanical aptitude; solid understanding of electrical systems. Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Clear communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a team. Tools & physical requirements Comfort reading meters (volt, amp, ohm, etc.). Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Comfort with prolonged standing. May operate forklift/pallet jack when required.
