Laser Operator Certified Source - 3.3 Oklahoma City, OK Job Details Full-time $18 - $23 an hour 23 hours ago Benefits 401(k) 4% Match 401(k) matching Qualifications Manufacturing equipment maintenance Java Attention to detail Vocational training Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description This role is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude, hands-on career tech training, and the ability to learn and apply programming skills related to laser cutting equipment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently on production tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate, set up, and troubleshoot laser cutting machinery on the production floor
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications
  • Perform basic programming and adjustments within the laser equipment software (Java/programming experience highly preferred)
  • Assist with machine calibration, maintenance, and quality checks
  • Monitor production output for accuracy and consistency
  • Work closely with the production team to meet daily manufacturing goals
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Qualifications:
  • Career Tech or vocational training in manufacturing, machining, or a related technical field
  • Basic programming knowledge; Java experience preferred
  • Ability to learn machine software and processes (computer-illiterate candidates who can learn hands-on are acceptable if they can be trained)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to stand, lift, and work in a manufacturing environment
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
