Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSBILITIES
Prepare equipment for repairing by pressure washing, blasting, painting etc. Check all structural and mechanical components for defects Make any necessary repairs and replace broken parts Calibrate equipment and paint exterior surfaces Assist in shipping and inventory related matters Assist in training new shop personnel Provide assistance to others in difficult repair tasks Knowledge of rig floor and pressure control equipment Perform other work related tasks as assigned Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures​​​​​​​
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum 4 years heavy equipment manufacturing or repair experience Minimum 4 years hydraulic experience, either in manufacturing or repair Ability to read electrical schematics 1-3 years experience with hydraulics
REQUIRED SKILLS
Mechanically inclined Strong attention to detail Excellent people skills with the ability to be a team-player Great verbal and oral communication skills Physically able to stand, bend, lift items over head, and crouch for short periods Ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours per day
