E&I Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for expertly managing and optimizing process control systems and field devices. You will troubleshoot, program, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, Drives, and various control systems, offering invaluable support to operational and maintenance teams. You'll collaborate on capital projects, contributing to the installation and efficiency of instrumentation and control devices. Managing system documentation and ensuring program backups are maintained will be crucial elements of this position. The role also involves supporting daily operations, planned maintenance activities, and capital projects within the electrical and instrumentation domain. You will engage with reliability programs, including conducting Thermography, Ultrasound evaluations, and Motor and Power Analysis to ensure operational efficiency. Essential qualifications include an engineering degree or relevant vocational certificate, complemented by experience in a high-speed manufacturing setting, ideally within the papermill or converting industries. Strong diagnostic skills and expertise in electrical systems and programming are vital, alongside the ability to work collaboratively yet independently in a dynamic environment. Nigel
