Job Description

Job Title:
Valve Repair Technician Travel Requirement:
Up to 50% (local and out-of-town customer sites)
Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled Valve Repair Technicians to perform the teardown, inspection, refurbishment, and reassembly of valves used primarily in the oil and gas industry, as well as other industrial applications. This hybrid role requires work in both a shop environment and at customer sites, with up to 50% travel. The ideal candidate must possess or be able to obtain a TWIC card and comply with DISA Random Testing Program (RTP) requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform teardown, inspection, cleaning, and refurbishment of valves, actuators, and related components. Diagnose issues such as leaks, wear, or damage and recommend appropriate repair solutions. Reassemble valves and perform pressure tests or functionality tests to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Document inspection findings, repair processes, and final test results in detailed reports. Provide on-site valve repair services at customer locations, including installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
Qualifications:
Skills & Knowledge:
Proficiency in disassembly, repair, and reassembly of industrial valves. Knowledge of industry standards such as API, , and ANSI. , and technical manuals. Experience with pressure testing and diagnostic tools.
Requirements:
Must possess or be able to obtain a TWIC card . Participation in the DISA Random Testing Program (RTP) is mandatory. Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
