Job Description
Sunrise Water Authority (SWA) is looking for an experienced SCADA technician to operate, maintain and repair the organization's SCADA system. This is a regular full-time position in our Technical Services Department. Minimum qualifications strictly apply. Position is open until filled or withdrawn.

Design and implementation of SCADA hardware and software, including related HMI platforms; Integration and support of related equipment, including programmable logic controllers; Monitors and analyzes SCADA logs and historian data; Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and repair of system components and platforms; Provides after hours and on-call technical support for system maintenance and repair; Prepares and implements emergency response and recovery plans; Reads and understands schematics, design drawings, and other related support functions; Understand and follows agency employment policies and safety procedures; Able to work effectively in groups; and Model superior customer service and professionally represent organization in public. Five (5) years or more of relevant experience in the design, maintenance and repair of SCADA systems Familiarity with codes, regulations and standards related to public drinking water systems Valid Oregon Driver's license and clean driving record Successfully pass a drug/alcohol screening and background checkDesired Qualifications:
Working knowledge of the design, maintenance and repair of remote controlled (radio based) SCADA system hardware and software. Working knowledge of the integration and implementation of related programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Working knowledge of the operation of municipal drinking water systems. Candidates with advanced experience and qualifications preferred.Similar remote jobs
