POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Engineering Technician to support the development, assembly, and deployment of precision electro-optical systems. This role is hands-on and spans the entire product lifecycle, from prototyping and system integration to rigorous troubleshooting and direct customer field support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Surface Mount Device (SMD) prototype assembly and component rework
  • Troubleshoot analog and digital electronic circuitry
  • Wire harnesses fabrication and documentation
  • Optical system assembly
  • System wiring, integration, calibration, and functional testing
  • Conduct on-site customer installations, field service, and system maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
AA/AS degree in Electronics Technology, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical training and experience.
Experience:
Experience in electronics assembly, testing, and system-level troubleshooting.
REQUIREMENTS
Technical:
Demonstrated proficiency in SMD soldering and rework. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Proficiency with standard test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators).
Professional:
Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities. Clear communication skills for customer-facing environments. The ability to work effectively within a collaborative engineering team.
Physical:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Travel:
Valid credentials and willingness to travel for on-site customer installations and support.
