Three maverick farmers started it all — and we've been making our own way ever since. The Electromechanical Technician will be responsible for providing engineering support for plant equipment. You will troubleshoot and repair automated equipment, implement process improvement projects, and proactively provide equipment support. You will also assess equipment needs, providing change recommendations and expertise on equipment functions. Additionally, you will identify training needs and opportunities to improve engineering capabilities. •This is a 2-2-3 schedule with rotating weekends off on a day shift from 6AM to 6PM•A Day in the Life... Provide support in a self-directed manner in a high paced work environment with a pro-active approach to sustaining operational processes. Provide troubleshooting and repair of complex automated equipment. Identify and implement process improvement projects related to sustainability, cost savings, quality or throughput. Provide documentation on process and equipment parameter changes. Document work tasks through facility CMMS software. Provide engineering level assessment of equipment and provides recommendation of process, maintenance, and component inventory changes to management. Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to expand on skills and capabilities by working with the Manager to identify specific training opportunities including but not limited to controls, KRONES, productivity and throughput programs.
What We Are Looking For:
Troubleshoot and repair automation equipment (PLCs, I/O, HMI, Ethernet communication equipment) Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical equipment (servos, motors, VFD equipment) Knowledge of control system principles and identifying failure modes Knowledge of blending and packaging operations Knowledge of process control principles and identifying failure modes. Interpret electrical schematics, process & instrumentation diagrams (PIDs) and process flow diagrams (PFDs) Use of computerized maintenance management software Use of SCADA systems Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred 3+ years of experience required
