Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Electronics Test Technician to work from their Canonsburg PA facility. Apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers' missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar and everything in between.QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent including vocational training is required plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. As the Electronics Test Technician , you'll support engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment. This may entail performing research and engineering laboratory functions that may include, but are not be limited to: Perform component-level troubleshooting on analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics assemblies. Analyze circuit schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to isolate faults. Use advanced diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, signal generators, and multimeters. Apply theoretical knowledge of electronics (Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's laws, transistor theory, op-amps, digital logic, power conversion, etc.) to fault analysis. Identify failed or out-of-spec components including resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, ICs, and power devices. Conduct functional and environmental tests to verify repairs. Document failure modes, root causes, and corrective actions in maintenance or quality systems. Provide technical support to production, engineering, and quality teams. Assist in developing troubleshooting procedures, test plans, and repair documentation. Proven ability to diagnose and repair electronic assemblies at the component level.
