Conspec Controls aims to protect people and environments through its gas detection and safety products. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electronics and have hands-on experience with equipment repair and maintenance. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic systems and components. A problem-solving mentality is essential for success in this position. Responsibilities Assemble, install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic components and systems. Source or fabricate replacement parts for electronic systems. Ensure all power and manual tools are operated in accordance with health and safety regulations. Provide training and supervision for new technicians and apprentices. Carry-out scheduled preventative maintenance and service equipment. Perform equipment demonstrations and support the creation of training manuals wherever required. Interpret drawings, training manuals, and instructions in order to perform duties. Follow written, verbal, and telephonic instructions. Attend regular training workshops and reporting to the supervisor. Qualifications Associates degree or proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role within the electronics field. Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment used in electronics repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various electronic systems. Familiarity with computer hardware components and low voltage systems is preferred. Experience with field service operations is a plus. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients. Occasional overnight travel is required and applicants must possess a valid driver's license. Applicants must pass a background check and drug screening.
