Job Description
We are seeking a reliable Electrical Service Technician, responsible for assembly of electrical control panels and wiring of equipment in Company's factory located in New Castle PA. Candidate will also frequently travel to client factories for equipment installation as well as troubleshooting and repairs. Travel requirements are expected to be 30-60%. Should be able to read electrical schematics and be proficient in working on AC voltages up to 480 V as well as control circuits. Candidate must be able to follow all Company safe work practices as well as any additional client policies while working off-site. Responsibilities Perform installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage equipment. Maintain and service automation components such as sensors, vision inspection systems, CNC machines, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, AutoCAD diagrams, and wiring diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Utilize field service skills to troubleshoot electrical failures in manufacturing equipment and implement effective solutions promptly. Collaborate with team members to improve system reliability through continuous improvement initiatives and technical upgrades. Preferred Skills Experience with industrial electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with expertise in hydraulics and pneumatic systems. (highly desired but not required) Ability to read schematics, technical drawings (including AutoCAD), and wiring diagrams accurately. Skilled in programming and troubleshooting PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). Proficiency with calibration techniques for sensors, vision inspection systems, and other automation components.(highly desired but not required) Experience working with CNC machinery and implementing precision measurement techniques using tools like ohmmeters. Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work in manufacturing environments; military experience is a plus for disciplined approach. Customer service mindset with excellent communication skills for field service support and team collaboration.
