This position offers a competitive pay rate of $30-40 per hour, with overtime and international travel compensation bringing estimated annual earnings to around $100-120,000. Automation Install Technician:
Install, commission, service, and troubleshoot automated food processing and packaging equipment at customer sites Mechanical and electrical machine and equipment installations Perform mechanical and electrical fault-finding on high-speed production lines Support customers with breakdown response, preventative maintenance, and system optimization Provide on-site training to maintenance and operations teams Liaise with engineering and parts teams to resolve technical issues and identify upgrade opportunities Complete service reports, site documentation, and expense reporting Travel extensively to customer facilities across North America, with occasional international travel (50-75%) Developed and maintained machine control systems using PLC/HMI platforms. Delivered customized, customer-focused automation solutions.
