Job Summary:
Electronic Technician reports directly to the Production Supervisor and performs electronic repairs on MRI Coils.
Duties and Responsibilities:
In addition to various tasks assigned by the supervisor the following are basic duties and responsibilities:
  • Repair MRI Coils to the component level
  • Ability to operate a variety of electronic test equipment, read schematics and solder.
  • Ability to diagnose failures with limited documentation and customer information.
  • Proactively prioritize activities within fast paces work environment
  • Maintain workspace in an orderly and professional manner.
  • Ability to assemble, build, or reconstruct MRI system cables.
  • Supports safe operation of equipment in the manufacturing environment. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Multi-task Credentials and Experience:
Associates Degree required Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent electronics experience.
  • Experience working with electro-mechanical devices used in medical field.
  • Experience in an environment governed by
ISO 9001& 13485.

Citizen or Legal Resident Alien Special Requirements:
Willingness and ability to work long hours and weekends as required. Physical Requirements The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is frequently required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk. Must possess sight/hearing senses to adequately perform the functions of the job. The employee is regularly required to verbally communicate. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color. vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus. May be required to occasionally lift 50 lbs. Must be able to manage and handle stressful and or demanding situations. Working Relationship/Environment Exposure Maintain relationships and open communication. Work is normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment, where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of normal repair environment. No environmental hazards are encountered in performance of normal job duties.
