The Electro-Mechanical Technician is also key contributor in the implementation of new equipment, processes, and technology.
The Nuts and Bolts Fabrication Equipment Maintenance:
1. Service and repair fabrication equipment, including lasers, press brakes, coil lines, and CNC punch presses. 2. Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. 3. Ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets safety standards.
System Integration and Implementation:
4. Implement new equipment and technologies into existing systems. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality. 6. Provide input on equipment designs and modifications to enhance performance.
Documentation and Reporting:
7. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and inspections. 8. Contribute to the development of maintenance procedures and manuals.
Support Across Maintenance Areas:
9. Assist other maintenance areas as needed when not servicing automated equipment. 10. Provide support in various maintenance tasks to ensure overall operational efficiency. 11. Provides emergency unscheduled repairs, which may require overtime and weekends 12. Provides regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment 13. Aids with facility snow removal
PLC and Controls Maintenance:
14. Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC systems and control mechanisms. 15. Conduct diagnostics and repairs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Robotics and Automation Maintenance:
16. Maintain and troubleshoot robotic systems and automated machinery. 17. Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration to optimize performance. 18. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement automation upgrades and enhancements. Required Credentials Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in maintenance, with a focus on fabrication and automated equipment. Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC, controls, robotics, automation, and complex electro-mechanical systems. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing fabrication equipment, including lasers, press brakes, and CNC punch presses. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and reliability-centered maintenance. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
