Job description About MegaPhase MegaPhase LLC is a U.S.-based manufacturer of high-performance RF and microwave interconnect solutions serving the defense, space, and telecom markets. Our precision cable assemblies are trusted in mission-critical applications around the world. We're seeking team members who take pride in craftsmanship, quality, and innovation. Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Electronics Soldering Technician to join our team. The technician is responsible for completing the soldering process in the manufacture of products in a safe and efficient manner. MegaPhase products include coaxial cable, cable assemblies, and connectors. Duties and Responsibilities Create soldered connections to applicable quality standards. Demonstrates technical knowledge to operate soldering equipment. Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written work order instructions and priority scheduling. Read and review prints, drawings, and assemblies notifying any discrepancies. Verifies work order details to ensure product is produced according to MegaPhase or customer specifications. Cleans finished piece to meet quality standards and delivers pieces to testing lab. Performs rework procedures as directed by QA lab. Inspects parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as needed. Trains and mentors team members on appropriate soldering techniques. Suggests manufacturing process improvements. Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas. Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations. Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries. Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines. Understanding of
ISO 9001-2015 / AS9100
environment. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education:
HS Diploma/GED Certificates and Licenses:
Currently certified, or able to be certified in the first 6 months.
