- As a Pharmacy Services Automation Pharmacy Technician 4, you step into a critical role, ensuring the seamless daily dispensing of all sterile compounded medications from Omnicell's advanced automated IV equipment.
Your role includes:
+ Equipment management, maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting. + Material management and movement. + Managing optimal medication inventory levels. + Diligently reviewing and updating documentation. + Effective customer communication for building strong relationships. - + Perform IV automation tasks in an aseptic, error free manner, consistent with standard operating procedures.
- Specialized Knowledge / Skills
- + Good organizational skills in a fast-paced environment + Demonstrate customer service skills.
- Basic Qualifications
- + High school diploma or GED +
Active Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification :
PTCB or via NHA, CPhT / EXCPT + Active State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration with State Board of Pharmacy, for the State of NC + Working knowledge of IV Compounding- Preferred Knowledge and Skills
- + One year of IV Compounding experience. + Proficient in the use of PPE and hand hygiene techniques. + Working knowledge of sterile environment requirement. + Completed an accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. + Two years previous experience in hospital pharmacy automation. + Basic Troubleshooting Skills with automation devices. + Automation implementation experience.
- Work Conditions
- + •Ability to travel for trainings (paid training)•+ •Able to daily commute to and work daily at client site: 1121 N.
- + •Able to work MON to THU (4/10) from 12 pm to 10:30 pm•(may subject to change), Omnicell offers Shift Differential Policy + Hospital Pharmacy environment.
Other:
- + Selected candidates may be required to pass a math aptitude test.
