About the Role The Building Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the building and grounds by performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and necessary repairs to ensure a safe and well-maintained facility. What You'll Be Doing (Essential Responsibilities) Facility Maintenance Perform basic plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling maintenance to ensure all equipment is in good working condition, utilizing third party vendors where required for additional support. Make monthly inspections of all building-related equipment and report any issues to the COO.
Maintain a beautiful TROXELL campus:
trim grass and rake/sweep/blow grass clippings, create/water/weed planters, and ensure parking lot and walkways are clear of any debris. Apply ice melt to building entrances and shovel snow as needed to maintain safe and accessible entryways Paint/trim and repair nail holes or other wall damage inside and outside as needed. Move and arrange office/cubicle furniture. Ensure security system is working and provide on-call assistance as needed. Run errands to buy maintenance supplies as necessary. Perform special projects at management's request.

Advanced training at technical, business, or college level is highly desired. 0-3 years of experience in building maintenance is desired. Ability to lift 50+ pounds. A valid Driver's License is required. Ability to be highly organized, yet flexible in dealing with shifting priorities, fluctuating workloads, and evolving procedures. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to work independently with limited supervision, while maintaining positive staff relationships within a teamwork environment. What We Need from You Full-time Hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm This position is not eligible for hybrid work
