Jr.Calibration Technician Primary Responsibilities:
Your main responsibility is the testing, calibration, and repair of precision instrumentation , ensuring all equipment meets or exceeds OEM and ANSI standards.Precision Calibration :
Perform testing and calibration of Industrial Hygiene and precision measurement instrumentation to supersede OEM specifications.Component-Level Repair :
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair both mechanical and electrical devices down to the component level.Technical Compliance :
Comprehend and follow complex technical work instructions to maintain ISO 17025 andANSI Z540
guidelines.Customer Interaction :
Respond to customers and business partners to develop a deep understanding of their technical needs and provide outstanding service.Continuous Improvement :
Maintain a meticulous attention to detail and a mindset focused on improving laboratory processes and accuracy.Data Management :
Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access) to document calibration results and maintain equipment records. Jr.Calibration Technician Requirements:
Education :
A 2-year Electronic Technical Certificate is required (Associate degree in Electronic Technology is highly desired).Experience :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in PMEL or a comparable electronic calibration field.Technical Skills :
Strong ability to troubleshoot electrical/mechanical devices and read complex technical schematics.Citizenship :
Must be a US Citizen with a valid driver's license.Physical Capability :
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb stairs; negligible travel (less than 5%) may be required.Communication :
