As our Industrial Storage fleet grows rapidly,we'relooking for a hands-on Engineering Technician to support the commissioning of these systems. In this role,you'llwork alongside commissioning engineers and field teams to help bring renewable energy projects online efficiently and reliably. You'llcollaborate with engineers, field service technicians, and external partners to support the commissioning of BESS, SCADA, and Balance of Plant systems. Your focus will be on executing tests, collecting data, performing equipment checks, andassistingwith troubleshooting across inverters, battery modules, thermal systems, digital controls, and communication networks,both on-site and remotely.

Support Commissioning Execution:
Assistwith on-site and remote commissioning activities for projects of varying scales, helping ensure proper integration of BESS in utility, commercial, industrial, and microgrid environments
Perform Testing and Data Collection:
Conduct equipment walk-downs, functional tests, and performance verifications; accurately record test data and document results in clear reports
Assist with
Troubleshooting:
Support diagnosis and resolution of hardware, software, firmware, and network issues during commissioning under the guidance of engineers, helping minimize downtime and optimize system performance
Maintain Documentation and Tools:
Help develop, update, and organize commissioning procedures, checklists, and supporting materials; contribute to basic tools and data collection for site-level insights
Ensure Safety and Quality:
Follow all safety protocols, verify proper installation and setup against drawings and specifications, and support smooth handover of systems to operations and maintenance teams
Customer and Team Support:
Assist in explaining basic system status and resolutions to internal teams and customers as needed;participatein site walks, startups, and training activities What You'll Bring
Degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in electrical, mechanical, electronics, ora relatedtechnical field
Technical Skills:
Strong practical knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, with experience using diagnostic tools, test equipment, and basic data logging. Familiarity with digital network protocols (e.g., CAN, TCP/IP, Modbus) and comfort working with systems running Linux-based applications is highly desirable
Hands-On Experience:
2-5 years of experience in equipment installation, testing, maintenance, commissioning support, or field service in industrial or energy-related environments

Excellent record-keeping skills and the ability to produce clear,accuratedocumentation, diagrams, and reports
Collaboration and Communication:
Strong teamwork abilities with good oral and written communication skills; comfortable working with cross-functional teams and external partners

Willingness to travel regionally to support on-site commissioning activities; comfortable working in field environments alongside technicians and construction teams

Expected Compensation
$30.50 - $51.73/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
