Mechanical Technician 3 Milford , MI Mechanical Contract Summary We are seeking an Engineering Maintenance and technical support Technician to work in several teams where you will demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and learning abilities with a nominal amount of cross training. More experienced applicants will manage most project responsibilities rather than working on parts of a job and possess the ability to mentor other technicians. I&E technicians can expect to work in various areas of the lab. This typically involves troubleshooting test cell systems and equipment, calibrating instrumentation, and performing preventative maintenance. The group seeks to minimize downtime to maximize efficiency while driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Instrumentation & Equipment Technicians will work in one or more of the following areas:
• Troubleshooting and repair of all items making up the test cell facility, including drive systems, fuel systems, dynamometers, pumps, heaters, heat exchangers, collecting motor vibration data, filter replacement, installing and calibrating cell transducers, harness and wiring troubleshooting, etc.
• Installation, calibration, set-up, and troubleshooting of exhaust gas emission measurement equipment.
• Equipment preventive and predictive maintenance work Required Qualifications
• Associates Degree or equivalent experience in an electrical-related field (circuit level, machine controls/maintenance, high voltage, commercial electrical, etc.) and/or related certifications;
