We are proud of our rich family heritage and strive to improve every day.Senior Building Automation Technician/Programmer Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the execution/installation and programming of large building automation projects.
- Develop/Design and execute small to medium retrofit and upgrade projects, while maintaining a universal technical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot BMS/BAS service-related calls.
- Demonstrates knowledge in the commercial HVAC sequence of operation, IT/OT infrastructure, and building construction operations.
- Works with a Field Supervisor and Project Manager to schedule and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Mentors and teaches other technicians.
- Follow safety requirements as outlined.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of services performed and generates reports
- Provides exceptional customer service.
- Completes any additional tasks as outlined by supervisors.
Senior Building Automation Technician/Programmer Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience required.
- Expert with Commercial Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems including the various components and processes. (Service background preferred).
- Proficient understanding of computers, electronics, and electrical circuits and how they work together.
- Knowledge of building automation systems, IT, HVAC, electrical theory, and building operations.
- Ability to learn/work across multiple platforms
- Background in Alerton, JCI, Distech, or Niagara Preferred.
- N4/TCP Certifications and Factory training looked upon highly
- Ability and willingness to work in a variety of circumstances
