In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of band instruments, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and playability. Your expertise will help musicians of all levels enjoy optimal performance from their instruments, fostering a passion for music and excellence. This position is offered as a part time or full time job and pay is negotiable. Please contact us if your interested! Responsibilities Diagnose issues with band instruments using detailed schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Perform precise repairs and adjustments on woodwind, brass, percussion, and string instruments utilizing calibration tools and precision measuring instruments. Conduct routine maintenance including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement to ensure optimal instrument performance. Collaborate with customers to explain repair processes, provide maintenance advice, and ensure satisfaction through excellent customer service. Requirements Proven experience in mechanical repair with a strong understanding of hydraulics, sensors, and industrial maintenance practices. Background in electrical systems including industrial electrician experience, E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation), and working knowledge of distributed control systems (DCS).(preferred not mandatory) Familiarity with calibration techniques, schematics interpretation, and the use of precision measuring instruments such as ohmmeters. Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems along with safety protocols related to electrical work. Ability to read technical drawings such as AutoCAD schematics and mechanical diagrams; experience in field service environments is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Experience in band instrument repairs
