Engineering Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting engineering projects through effective data collection, project scheduling, and root cause analysis. This position requires a strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using CAD software, particularly AutoCAD, to assist in the design and fabrication of engineering solutions. Responsibilities Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Assist in project scheduling to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks. Collect and analyze data to support engineering decisions and project developments. Utilize AutoCAD and other CAD software to create detailed drawings and specifications. Fabricate components as needed using hand tools and other equipment. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to develop innovative solutions. Maintain accurate documentation of all engineering processes and modifications. Ensure compliance with safety standards while operating machinery and tools. Requirements Strong mechanical knowledge with a solid understanding of engineering principles. Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD, for design purposes. Experience with logic controllers is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to perform math calculations relevant to engineering tasks. Familiarity with hand tools and fabrication techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in root cause analysis. Strong organizational skills for effective project scheduling. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
