Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve complex programming, software, and integration issues across PLC‑based control systems and automation equipment; engage external vendors or subject‑matter experts when required. Debug, optimize, and implement process improvements for automated assembly and manufacturing line controls to improve efficiency, equipment reliability, safety, and overall value stream performance. Design, develop, and optimize control concepts, logic, and architectures for automated equipment, machines, and production systems. Troubleshoot, modify, and maintain robot‑to‑PLC interface programs to ensure reliable communication, seamless integration, and consistent operational performance. Maintain, update, and continuously improve vision inspection and measurement systems to support stable production and quality requirements. Provide advanced technical support to maintenance teams by diagnosing control‑related equipment issues and implementing sustainable corrective actions. Deliver hands‑on training and technical guidance to maintenance personnel to increase local technical capability in automation and control systems. Maintain accurate control system documentation, electrical prints, software backups, and version control in accordance with internal standards. Stay current with emerging automation technologies, software platforms, and hardware to ensure ongoing technical excellence and innovation. Execute special projects, system upgrades, and automation initiatives as assigned by management. Demonstrate strong proficiency in PLC programming languages and industrial control standards. Support production needs with schedule flexibility such as On Call responsibility QualificationsEducation & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering is required. Advanced knowledge of Siemens PLC programming is expected, typically gained through a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or automation environment. Three to five years of relevant experience and/or specialized training in industrial control systems, automation, robotics, or a related field is required.Language Skills:

College level technical math skills requiredReasoning Ability:
Individual must have ability to make independent decisions that may be of a complex nature. Works under minimal supervision. May assist in orienting and training lower-level employees.Computer Skills:
Must have Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software. Must be capable of learning other software packages.Other Skills and Abilities:
Individual must possess the interpersonal skills to communicate with coworkers.Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Must have the ability to work in a manufacturing assembly environment. The positions require the ability to stand/walk for up to 4 hours at a time, repetitively bend, twist, grasp and lift up to 45 pounds.
