CNC Spindle & Turret Repair Technician Restless Machines LLC

  • 38/hour depending on experience About Us Restless Machines is a specialized CNC spindle and turret repair company based in Greenville, SC.
We repair what others can't — taking on complex, high-stakes jobs that other shops have given up on. Our customers are manufacturers across the country who can't afford downtime and need a team they can trust. We're a small, focused team. Everyone here does real work, and everyone's contribution matters. The Role We're looking for an experienced CNC spindle or turret repair technician to join our shop. You'll work alongside our lead technician on disassembly, diagnosis, repair, and reassembly of precision spindles and turrets from a wide range of machine brands and configurations. What You'll Do
  • Disassemble, inspect, and diagnose CNC spindles and turrets
  • Perform precision measurements and bearing replacements
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults
  • Reassemble and test units to manufacturer specifications
  • Document repair findings and work performed What We're Looking For
  • Hands-on experience in CNC spindle or turret repair, rebuilding, or precision mechanical assembly
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with precision measurement tools
  • Ability to read technical documentation and schematics
  • Self-directed — you don't need to be told twice Nice to Have
  • Experience with bearing installation and preload
  • Familiarity with dynamic balancing
  • Background in machine tool repair or rebuilding What We Offer
