The Supervisor, Calibration is responsible for overseeing the site calibration program, ensuring all measurement and test equipment is calibrated, maintained, and documented in compliance with applicable quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role supervises calibration technicians, manages calibration schedules, and ensures timely investigation and documentation of out-of-tolerance conditions, including the creation and management of deviations. Supervise daily operations of the calibration and metrology program. Manage and maintain the calibration schedule to ensure all instruments are calibrated within required intervals. Oversee calibration activities, including coordination with third-party calibration vendors. Review and approve calibration records, certificates, and documentation for accuracy and completeness. Investigate out-of-tolerance (OOT) calibration results and assess potential product impact. Create and manage deviations to address out-of-tolerance calibration findings, including root cause evaluation and corrective actions. Maintain and improve the calibration database. Periodically review calibration procedures, work instructions, and SOPs. Provide technical guidance for calibration technicians and other departments on instruments. Support internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections related to calibration and measurement systems. Trend calibration data to identify recurring issues or equipment drift. Work cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and Validation teams to resolve measurement system issues. Ensure traceability of measurement standards to national or international standards such as National Institute of Standards and Technology. Drive continuous improvement of the site metrology and calibration program. Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on experience in calibration, metrology, or quality systems in a regulated or manufacturing environment. Experience supervising or leading calibration personnel or programs. Strong experience with calibration management systems or CMMS software. Experience investigating out-of-tolerance calibration events and performing product impact assessments. Familiarity with deviation, CAPA, and quality event systems. Working knowledge of calibration standards, traceability, and measurement uncertainty. Experience supporting quality audits and regulatory inspections. Preferred Experience Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or GMP-regulated manufacturing. Familiarity with root cause investigation tools and risk assessment methods. Experience managing third-party calibration vendors. Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout production, laboratory, and warehouse environments for extended periods of time.
Ability to sit for extended periods while reviewing calibration records, analyzing data, and managing the calibration database.
Capability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Our Compensation and Benefits At Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $119,000 to $140,000 which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of an annual bonus - payouts are based on individual and company performance. Benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees, a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, wellness benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees to accrue up to 120 hours in the first four (4) years of employment, and 160 hours in the fifth (5th) year of employment as well as 15 paid holidays per year.
