40+ hours/week, Mon-Sat, shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM

Role:
Installation Technicians perform fiber optic installations within a residential and business environment. Technicians will install new fiber drops from service poles to the premise. The technician needs to be familiar with wireless technologies such as, modems/routers, home wireless mesh systems, mobile devices, PC's and similar equipment. Technician must be able to perform all work while adhering to established safety guidelines and procedures.
Qualifications Physical Requirements:
Requires frequent prolonged sitting, occasional prolonged standing, and frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, and stretching, eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity, including but not limited to the ability to use office wireless communication and computer equipment, as well as all tools of the trade. Requires ability to occasionally lift and comfortably maneuver an extension ladder weighing up to 60 pounds, ability to lift 20 pounds from floor to knuckle occasionally, and ability to lift 10 pounds from shoulder and above frequently. Requires crawling and maneuvering in crawlspaces, attics, basements, and similar confined areas and close quarters frequently. Will work in various weather conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Must have the ability to be trained to use all instruments, tools, etc., necessary to perform any and all work required in the classification Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills Must have and maintain a valid driver's license Please note that due to job responsibilities, KUB does not provide immigration sponsorship for and/or based on this position.
Preferred Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects One (1)+ years of experience working as an installation/service technician in the CATV or related industry Knowledge of fiber equipment needed for installations Knowledge of telecommunications industry equipment design and installation Strong verbal and written communication skills Selection Process About the
