Electrical Engineering Technician (Design), Level IV

Akima Infrastructure Services, LLC (AIS), is actively seeking Engineering, Professional, Technical, and administrative support personnel as part of our staff augmentation team supporting the Department of Energy at the Y‑12 National Security Complex located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and the Pantex Plant located in Amarillo, Texas. Drafting in

Bentley MicroStation:

One-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, lighting/power plans, installation details, Instrumentation and Controls Diagrams, conduit/cable schedules, fire alarm and communication drawings. Experience with low and medium voltage power distribution and industrial control systems. Experience with

NFPA 70, NFPA

79, and UL508A. Preparing data sheets, specifications, and walkdown reports. Work in concert with an electrical engineers and other CAD drafters from the same work group. Must be able to support construction and operational activities related to design outputs. Field walkdowns will be required sometimes in radiological contaminated areas.
