In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing electrical systems and components that operate on 12-volt power within vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong understanding of audio systems and remote start/security systems. Duties Diagnose and repair electrical issues related to 12-volt systems, including lighting, alarms, power accessories, and electronic modules. Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to accurately troubleshoot complex electrical problems. Perform vehicle diagnostics using specialized tools and software to identify faults efficiently. Utilize hand tools, power tools and diagnostic devices safely and effectively. Assist in aligning vehicle sensors or systems as needed for proper operation. Stay current with emerging automotive electrical technologies and repair techniques. Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair with a focus on electrical systems. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics tools. Mechanical aptitude combined with familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment. Ability to read technical manuals and interpret wiring diagrams accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing complex issues. Service technician experience demonstrating customer service skills and professionalism. Knowledge of auto estimating procedures is a plus.
Pay:
$17.00 - $24.00 per hour
