Electronics & PCBA Troubleshooting Location:
Austin, TX Shift:
Tuesday-Saturday | 3:30 PM•12:00
AM Pay:
$25•26/hour + 12% Shift Differential We are seeking an experienced Debug Technician to support advanced electronics manufacturing and testing operations in Austin, TX. This role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical and mechanical assemblies, including system-level diagnostics and PCBA component debugging for high-tech equipment. This position supports a major technology account and is ideal for candidates with strong troubleshooting skills in electronics, networking systems, and printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs).
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical assemblies at the system and component level Diagnose issues involving PCBAs, networking equipment, switches, and related electronic systems Operate electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes and diagnostic tools Assist with installation, validation, and debugging of manufacturing process equipment Collaborate with engineering teams on product functionality, troubleshooting procedures, and process improvements Develop and maintain debug guides and technical documentation for PCBA troubleshooting Track equipment yields, cycle rates, and productivity metrics Provide technical guidance and training to assemblers and other debug technicians Follow all safety procedures and maintain accurate records and documentation
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of debug, electronics repair, or PCBA troubleshooting experience required Strong system-level troubleshooting skills for electronic assemblies and networking equipment Experience using oscilloscopes and electronic test equipment Ability to read schematics and diagnose component-level failures Strong communication and teamwork skills Manufacturing or electronics production environment experience preferred This is not an entry-level role.
