Our treatments focus on refining and restoring the skin from within through advanced injectables, biostimulators, laser treatments, and aesthetic and wellness services, prioritizing natural, long-term outcomes. We are seeking an experienced Laser Technician to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and confident in delivering treatments while aligning with a regenerative, education-forward approach.
JOB OVERVIEW
Consulting with patients to assess skin concerns, treatment goals, and medical history in order to design and deliver individualized laser and energy-based treatment plans. Coordinating completion of required medical clearances in accordance with established clinical protocols prior to treatment. Collaborating with the medical director and clinical team to develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive aesthetic and skin health treatment plans. Performing laser and device-based aesthetic treatments, including hair removal, skin resurfacing, pigmentation correction, vascular treatments, skin tightening, and other advanced aesthetic technologies. Maintaining strict adherence to medical safety, sanitation, and infection control standards while performing treatments safely, ethically, and in alignment with best clinical practices.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Licensed Laser Technician in the state of Texas Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience performing advanced medical aesthetic laser and energy-based treatments (including ablative and non-ablative skin resurfacing, melasma and rosacea treatments, radiofrequency, and other advanced laser modalities.) Certification and demonstrated competency in laser safety and laser-based aesthetic devices Proven experience conducting patient consultations and developing personalized treatment plans Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, skin types (Fitzpatrick I-VI), contraindications, and laser parameters Understanding of aesthetic skin concerns including pigmentation, acne, rosacea, melasma, texture, and aging Ability to recommend appropriate treatments and treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency preferred but not required Provide legible communication and directions Experience with computers, calculators, iPads, and EMR systems Strong customer service and patient education skills Effective teamwork and collaboration Skilled in flexibility and adaptability to adjust tasks or priorities based on changing business needs or patient requirements Compute basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers)
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Essential:
Exert physical effort in transporting up to 50 pounds Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas. Reach 4 feet. Remain in a stationary position for up to 7 hours throughout the work shift. Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding. Well-groomed, hair pulled back, no visible tattoos. Dressed in approved scrubs and closed-toed shoes.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintain proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), including accurate documentation, treatment recording, and invoicing Collect, verify, and document comprehensive patient medical histories, consents, and required forms Maintain active licensure and complete all required continuing education; actively pursue ongoing professional development in medical aesthetics and laser technology Perform thorough patient consultations, assessing skin concerns and goals, establishing treatment plans, and making evidence-based recommendations Perform laser and energy-based treatments safely and effectively while prioritizing patient comfort, safety, and outcomes Educate patients on treatment expectations, pre- and post-care instructions, skincare, and complementary services Accurately record and charge for services rendered, including appropriate application of discounts, memberships, and promotions Maintain knowledge of all services, devices, protocols, pricing, and current promotions Ensure proper use, calibration, maintenance, and safety of all laser and medical devices Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary treatment environment in compliance with medical and spa safety standards Assist with treatment room turnover, setup, and supply management Build long-term patient relationships through trust, education, and continuity of care Address patient concerns professionally and escalate clinical or safety issues as appropriate Demonstrate the ability to respond appropriately to medical or facility emergencies per established safety protocols Support practice growth through ethical cross-recommendation of services, patient retention, and maintaining a personal booking rate above 50% Participate in practice initiatives including marketing events, patient education efforts, and professional self-promotion aligned with brand standards
SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS
Assist with other spa job functions as assigned. Sustain proficiencies through continuous education and training Document maintenance needs on work orders and submit to the Business Manager.
