Electronics Repair Technician Flexible Staffing El Paso, TX Job Details Full-time $14 - $19 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications English Driver's License Full Job Description Job Summary Seeking a skilled Electronic Repair Technician to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining components across a wide range of systems, including military aircraft, military vehicles, appliances, and specialized testing devices. Our technicians work from nose to tail, gaining hands-on expertise that's rare and highly valued in the industry. Key Responsibilities Strong background in electronics repair and diagnostics Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electronic apparatus and electrical and mechanical systems Diagnose and service appliances and test equipment Perform various calibrations and precision adjustments on mechanical/electronic devices Document maintenance activities per company policies and FAA regulations Maintain a safe and clean work environment Occasionally travel for training, field repairs, or temporary support from a technician outside their location. Create work instructions with technical drawings, images, and clear documentation Source, compare prices, and order parts from multiple vendors Build and manage bills of materials (BOMs) and maintain parts inventory Perform other duties as assigned Preferred Experience Proficient in soldering (MIG, TIG, and others) Experience with high and low voltage systems Familiarity with scheduled maintenance environments Ability to draft technical documentation and part drawings Knowledge of inventory control and parts sourcing Use of various tools and software, including calipers, rulers, multimeters, Microsoft Office, CAD software for drawing, hammers, cutters, and other testing tools and gadgets. Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available) Fluent in English (verbal and written); capable of interpreting technical manuals and safety documentation Willingness to work various shifts is required Strong communication skills, professional demeanor, and a team-oriented attitude Must pass DOT drug screening and all required background checks Valid driver's license and insurability under company policy Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, climb, and crawl for extended periods Regularly lift to 50 lbs.; occasionally lift to 70 lbs. Capable of repetitive motion and hands-on mechanical tasks Work Environment Work may be performed around active machinery Exposure to noise and movement typical of a mechanical shop or hangar Always wear protective gear.
Pay:
$14.00 - $19.00 per hour
